Masculine .
EDIT: I was wondering if I should put DEF-M for Definite-Masculine, instead of the-M? _________________ Join us at: The Renewed Spirits Forum!

Segmentable morphemes are separated by hyphens, both in the example and in the
gloss. There must be exactly the same number of hyphens in the example and in the
gloss. | So if your word contains a morpheme meaning "DEFINITE", then yes; otherwise, no.
(Or, if the morpheme you've glossed as "-M" above, actually means "Definite-Masculine" rather than merely "Masculine", and is different, for instance, from morphemes meaning "Indefinite-Masculine" and "Definite-Feminine", then it is a fusional morpheme (fusing the meanings "Definite" and "Masculine"), and should be glossed as "-DEF.M". The period "." is used to join meanings that are fused into the same morpheme.) | Rule 4 wrote: | Rule 4: One-to-many correspondences
When a single object-language element is rendered by several metalanguage
elements (words or abbreviations), these are separated by periods. E.g. | But also see rules 4A, 4B, 4C, 4D, and 4E.
And rule 5. And rule 6. _________________ Therefore love the child who holds your hand; and let your wife delight in your embrace; for this is the lot of mankind to enjoy:

Ahh, thank you I was wondering about that.
In that case it would be "the-M". _________________ Join us at: The Renewed Spirits Forum!

The best way is across the top of the ocean
notes:
loc.nom = location nominalization
perl = perlative/prosecuative case
The prefix ma- is typically used on adjectives and adverbs to denote a positive attitude towards the adjective or adverb but when placed on a noun it means "the best". |
