OK, OK, I know almost no one here knows anything about object oriented programming and specifically about Ruby but since I didn't make up another excuse to post something new I ended up telling you about this release for no good reason ha ha ha.
At least this OOP language isn't as hard as some others and since it's OOP you don't need to compile anything just keep scripting and that's pretty much all you need besides working on a simple text editor, of course. _________________ Seos nivo adgene Kizne tikelke

Yay for saying random things!
I've never been able to understand programming - I just can't seem to comprehend how you can go from 'we need a program that does this' to a program that does that via a bunch of text. Sure, I can get that this bit of code tells the computer to do that, and I suppose I would be able to read a program and figure out how it does what it does if I knew the language, but I can't quite visualise the process of actually designing a program.
Of course, there's a lot of processes like that that I don't understand that I do every day. |

True indeed. One of the most difficult things you can accomplish while making RPG's is crafting a battle system... The bad thing is other people will start asking you to explain them how do they do this and that, how soon you'll supply them with a bug fix if that's the case, etc. You never get rid of them once you [strikethrough]make the mistake of publishing[/strikethrough] publish one... _________________ Seos nivo adgene Kizne tikelke

I can imagine. I've seen some popular mods for games where I don't know how many hotfixes there have been since the last update. (And hotfixes for the hotfixes and so on...)
I've seen otherwise-good games die just because they were released too early with too many bugs, and the developers just couldn't fix enough to make the game really playable. |

Well, while making a game one should remember that the users won't forgive you anything! _________________ Seos nivo adgene Kizne tikelke
