Hey guys, am back! (actually, I've been checking the forum for short intervals, short enough not to login and ruin my studying)
And I have many questions (OT) regarding American education system in general.
From what I have read of your-pl. posts, you-pl. only have one exam per year? (not counting assessment and IQ tests)
How old is a normal freshman in high school?
And when does middle school end and high school start?
your system seems more complex than what we have here, and from what I understand, you-pl. on average finish high school at 18 (?). Here most finish at 16 or 17. I'm to graduate high school now and I'm 15. _________________ kasabot ka ani? aw di tingali ka bisaya mao na

Yay!
No, I have two. Some people may have more/less.

Can't explain wonderfully. _________________ Iwocwá ĵọṭãsák.

One or two big ones. We may have smaller chapter (or whatever) assessments that are called 'tests'.

14 or 15. Both ages are represented equally in my class.

Middle school is grades 6-8 (years). My freshman year is my 9th year of being in school.

I think I'm going to end up graduating at 17. It's generally 17 or 18. |

I have 8 exams, Maths, English, Science, Spanish, RE, ICT, Business and Art. Some of them have two or more parts, ie. Maths, English, Spanish. So quite a lot of work and stress.... GRR. (But they're mocks, so... I don't know, a little less stress?) |

in middle school we dont really have "exams" per se. we have standardized testing called the ISAT's (Illinois Standard Achievement Test) and it covers math science and reading/english. _________________ Join us at: The Renewed Spirits Forum!
