It's been ages since I did any conscripting, so I thought I should show you all what I have for my current main language, Drumu. I'll try to get some examples of writing posted soon. I may also be posting what I know so far about the language in the near future. Constructive feedback will be appreciated.

Ooh, an abugida! Don't see many of those too often. I like the ligatures (especially how the descender thing on kr(a) switches what it's attached to for kri).

Are those separate letters for the only syllable-final possible in Drumu (i.e. are you not using a virama instead)?

Love to see more!

I am using two viramas, the letters labeled -k and -p demonstrate them. But -s and -t are very common endings in Drumu (they mark the infinitive and the present tense on verbs, respectively, among other functions), so they have their own abbreviated letters. That way the page doesn't end up covered in lines and squiggles. Likewise the abbreviations for -os, -am, and -ib/-uv, which are case suffixes.

Ah, yes, I see the viramas. Cool idea, using abbreviations ^_^

Can you write "But, honey, if I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong" in it?

eldin: Laughing I could try! That would involve translating the phrase, which would involve making up some terms of endearment and figuring out how to do conditionals.... It could be a while.
