The riddle of Theodicy.

Epicurus said, and FAIK wrote:
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?

Well, it's been over three months (probably closer to five), and no-one has tried this yet. Maybe I shouldn't "necro" it.

But you did. I first tried to answer the riddle and then... forgot about it Rolling Eyes
So for now, again Latvian, just for simplicity's sake.

Epikūra mīkla:
Vai Dievs vēlas apturēt ļaunumu, bet nespēj? Tad Viņš nav visvarens.
Vai Viņš to spēj, bet nevēlas? Tad Viņš ir ļaunprātīgs.
Vai Viņš to gan spēj, gan vēlas? Tad no kurienes nāk ļaunums?
Vai Viņš to ne spēj, ne vēlas? Tad kādēļ saukt Viņu par Dievu?
