The good ole' Lord's Prayer Smile

Latvian:
Mūsu Tēvs Debesīs, svētīts lai top Tavs Vārds, lai nāk Tava Valstība, Tavs Prāts lai notiek kā Debesīs, tā arī virs zemes. Mūsu dienišķo maizi dodi mums šodien un piedod mums mūsu parādus, kā arī mēs piedodam saviem parādniekiem. Un neieved mūs kārdināšanā, bet atpestī mūs no ļaunā, jo Tev pieder valstība, spēks un gods mūžīgi mūžos, āmen.

"Printed"
Handwritten - There is an error in the second line - I used the masculine "your" for some reason, while everything else is feminine. I was too lazy to fix it. Rolling Eyes Also I wrote rotgar as rochar, which also is acceptable since they're pronounced exactly the same.

Ironically, no one ever did the Latin for this one!

Pater noster, qui es in caelis, sanctificetur nomen tuum. Adveniat regnum tuum. Fiat voluntas tua, sicut in caelo et in terra. Thanks! Do you have this language posted under Conlangs? I looked but didn't find it. Could we have the pronunciation too? Not the whole thing, just like an alphabet list? I read it assuming general pronunciation, like /a/ = [a] and /u/ = [u] and /d/ = [d] etc. but I got hung up on the letters with the inverted carrot, and /j/. I figured they were like [t_S] and [S] and either [j] or [d_Z]. Sorry if it's posted elsewhere and I'm just blind! Wink

Good Lord, I haven't commented on this thread since Groundhog Day 2010!
Achemel, Kiri, Tolkien_Freak, Aeetlrcreejl:
Those translations are beautiful.
For everyone who posted Interlinear Morphemic Glosses of their romanizations of their languages' PaterNoster, thanks; they're great.
For everyone who posted conscripts or links to their conscripts;
they're beautiful!

@T_F; Would you care to post an IMG of the Latin PaterNoster?

I'm getting around to posting the language, but you're completely right about the pronounciation. /j/ is <dZ>, because /y/ is <j>. Other than the j/y and w, this is basically the way any Latvian person would read the letters. I didn't go for anything fancy, because of the fact that it's just a transcription of the actual script.

And thanks for saying it's pretty, but it's not my work ^_^

If you mean Interlinear Morphemic Gloss (more likely), I thought I did (well, it's not interlinear, but still).
If you mean image (less likely), I'm not sure what you need it for...

Yes, that's what I meant.

Oops! So you did!
I couldn't find it just scanning the thread, even after you told me it was there; I had to use a software search on it.
If it had been a snake it would have bitten me twice!
