|

I just got a "forum suspended or deleted" message from Bizhat.
Then I tried again and here I am on Vreleksá, where I wanted to be.
What gives, does anyone know?
Is this forum actually in danger? _________________ "We're the healthiest horse in the glue factory" - Erskine Bowles, Co-Chairman of the deficit reduction commission |

I've never gotten such a message, so I hope it was just an error of some sorts. |

I would guess it was an error. I would hope it was an error.
(I've never gotten it either.) |

Never seen that error in 2010 at least. _________________ Seos nivo adgene Kizne tikelke

I haven't gotten any notice about them closing Vreleksá down - so I hope not! =D |

Yesterday I got a similar error-message again, accompanied with the explanation "Forums with no posts for 30 days will get suspended. Suspended forums can get reactivated within 25 days, after that the form will get deleted and all data will be lost.".
Today I got in just fine. _________________ "We're the healthiest horse in the glue factory" - Erskine Bowles, Co-Chairman of the deficit reduction commission |

Does that mean, that we have to post, at least once a month? I guess it's reasonable, and we can do it |

If each of us decides to post at least once every four weeks that would guarantee it. _________________ "We're the healthiest horse in the glue factory" - Erskine Bowles, Co-Chairman of the deficit reduction commission |

One would hope we wouldn't have to make any special effort. |

Tolkien_Freak wrote: | One would hope we wouldn't have to make any special effort. | I log in nearly every day. Except for weekends and holidays and being sick, and maybe occasional special events, I never go longer than two days without logging in.
But I think I may merely look as often as I post something. Remembering to post something might take some special effort from me. I imagine I post an average of once a week, but the variance may be large enough that sometimes I don't post for a whole month. _________________ "We're the healthiest horse in the glue factory" - Erskine Bowles, Co-Chairman of the deficit reduction commission |

@eldin: I'd imagine mine is much the same. During high-activity periods, I might have 4-5 posts a day, but when it's low I might have 1 a week max.
@3po: I'm sure we'd all appreciate it if you would refrain from making comments that add nothing to a discussion except annoyance to those reading them (for example, that comment right there). We like to think of this forum as a place where everyone is nice to each other; and the fewer exceptions to that, the better. |

3po, I'm with TF on this.
Anyway, as for me, I do log on every time I get on internet (which is basically more or less every day), but I don't always comment, because, to be honest, I don't find every single topic interesting and there are times, when nothing seems particularily(sp?) appealing to me.
Nevertheless, I think we see new posts more or less once a week, at the least, so no need to be worried. We should just keep in mind to bump the forums, if things go extreme |

Could it be a problem with some old cookies being used by your browser? Did you try to access the forum from another browser and got the same weird error / warning message? _________________ Seos nivo adgene Kizne tikelke

I may or may not have tried it from a different computer, which I gather would not have the same cookies. Whatever, eventually the problem went away. _________________ "We're the healthiest horse in the glue factory" - Erskine Bowles, Co-Chairman of the deficit reduction commission |

AFAIK / IIRC a browser has a list of URLs stored in a file (don't know which one) and Vreleksa's one in numbers might have changed (for a day or so) and the browser and the router / modem were unable to find it due to such change... Actually your temporary problem is as weird as the one I had 1 or 2 year ago where bizhat told me they wouldn't allow me to access this forum due to "the fact" that I was a damn spammer... _________________ Seos nivo adgene Kizne tikelke
