For those of you who may not know (I'm guessing you know if you're on the ZBB, I just happened to stumble across it on zompist.com),
Zompist's Language Construction Kit is now available as a book.
Apparently it's got a whole lot of extra stuff that the web version doesn't have - it's four times as long.
I'm considering getting it, if only as reference material. What do people thing - is it a good use of $15, or would it probably be full of stuff any experienced conlanger already knows? |

I suspect it's worth it. I plan to get it as soon as I can afford it, unless someone tells me not to before then. _________________ "We're the healthiest horse in the glue factory" - Erskine Bowles, Co-Chairman of the deficit reduction commission |

Looks interesting. The Kit was very helpful when I was first getting started. I just need to give my finances a chance to recover after Spring Break! _________________ Speak: English, Spanish

I got it. It's pretty awesome. A lot of it is stuff I know, and a lot of it is either stuff I didn't know/didn't think about, or stuff I need to be reminded of.
I'm enjoying reading through it. |
