HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!

By order of the Valentine's Day Boingies you must write Happy Valentine's day in your pretty scripties........

.......or else. Believe me when I say that I really wish I could say that I was joking....but I can't cause I'm not. So I'll start:

A note on the last one. There are multiple ways you can say this in Käläli. Here are some more:

Memišu memidwapi
Memišu memiiażudwapi
Memišu memdwapi

Memišu means happy or joy in this case it's happy.

And then with Sa umjiru:

Sa umjiru memidwapi
Sa umjiru memdwapi
Sa umjiru memiiażudwapi

So there you go. Sa umjiru= wishing ( you ).

So start posting pretty scripties or have the V-day boingies shoot arrows at you. You wanna do the first suggestion.

And most importantly have a good one!

How do you say "Saint"?
And how would you translate "Valentine"? I'm not even sure what the original Roman's name meant to his (presumably not-yet-Christian) parents.

Saint= Kisäru

As for the actual translation of "Valentine" I'll have to look into word origin to come up with something.

It's known as "love day" Memi Dwapi in Käläli but as I showed you there are multiple ways of saying it.

Miss me? Mr. Green

I guess the most basic question here is how your language greets people on holidays. I haven't yet figured this out for Emitare, so I can't really translate it yet.

'Valentine's Day' itself in Emitare would probably just be 'Varentainulhö iri', Valentine-GEN day.

TK: Doesn't Emitare have a pretty scripty?

Dusepo: Pretty scripty! Post the alphabet since I don't think you did. It's about time you did. Mr. Green

You don't know your own initials?!

TF = Tolkien_Freak

I'm truly shocked! Razz

And of course I was hinting at something and that something is when you have a chance write it in the pretty scripty.

You don't want the boingies after you. Twisted Evil Razz Mr. Green

I guess. I know I'll be getting St. Patrick's Day.

And that's ok as long as you post it I don't care.
