Ooh. It reminds me of Tengwar, especially the first one.

Based on the transcription it looks like it's an alphabet. What's the reasoning behind the grouping of sounds? (The only groups I can tell are ones based off that w and ones based off the q/g thing.)

It is an alphabet. I'm not quite sure what you mean by grouping of sounds, but I wanted it to not have any "harsh" sounds, since none of the letters were very harsh-looking.

I mean grouping by letter-form - some letters look like they're based off the same basic shape. The question is, is it significant which ones are based off of the same shape?

I can see a bit of Tengwar in there too. I think it looks more like Balinese or Javanese, maybe even Avestan and this one alphabet I can't remember the name of. I like it! Very Happy

Also I really like the letter for ae. (^_^)

I've seen Tengwar before, but not enough to have any idea what it looks like.

What did you use to write the letters? The even way the lines get thick and thin makes it look like some sort of fine calligraphy pen. ?
