This is the map of my conworld (conland?), Novanna. I'm sorry for the Latvian spelling of the names. The elven (Vaijerīna) spelling is in brackets
Any questions? Suggestions? |

Is that the whole world, or just one continent on it? It seems a bit too perfectly round to me (no offense).
The difference between the Latvian and Vajeriina (can I spell it that way? I don't have fast access to macrons) is interesting. It seems almost more that the Vajeriina names are renderings of the Latvian names into Vajeriina - Eljomna, the Latvian name, looks more complicated than Ellonna, the Vajeriina name. If you're rendering it from Vajeriina to Latvian, where do the j and m come from - wouldn't you be able to render it as at least Elona or something? |

The names are interesting or simple in some cases, but what I don't like is the roundness, and of course, the mountain range, it looks weird, unnatural, but that's my humble opinion. _________________ Seos nivo adgene Kizne tikelke

@TF, it's all because of the pronunciation of the Vaijeriina. Ll is pronounced lj and nn is pronounced mn. Hence the Latvian spellings.
@kyonides, what exactly looks unnatural about the mountains to you?
IDK, I kinda like the roundnes. And there is supposed to be another continent somewhere. |

I may be way off-base here, but, just looking at the map and guessing:
Is this Puerto Rico as it would have been if it had been settled by Latvian elves? _________________ "We're the healthiest horse in the glue factory" - Erskine Bowles, Co-Chairman of the deficit reduction commission |

*not sure how to respond*
To myself it more resembles Antarctica, as it would have been, if it was settled by elves with a spanish-like pronunciation
But, no matter what, I kinda like it |
