OHHHHHH! I see! Then, how do I get it to be just the picture when it's online and automatically doesn't work (for me, apparently)? Should I just remember the "dynamic web page" bit in there and get rid of it before posting the link between img brackets, or will that mess it up?

In this case when you upload more pictures to the same place you could just remember the addresses. Otherwise, normally, but not on photobucket, you could right-click on the picture and click on "preferences" (I think, I have Swedish Windows), and get the address. But they have a transparent picture on top on the real image so that you get that address instead as a weak copy protection. So I looked at the source code, where the addresses to the real pictures was easy to find. (I only retrieved the first link, the other two I guessed based on the first)

Yaaaay I did it! Very Happy Thanks for everyone's input and assistance - I searched around trying to find what to do and then, amazingly enough, under "share this image" there this direct link url and that seems to be what's going on here! Hooray!

Although, ya know what, I'd better figure out how to resize this picture.

Edit: Better? Was there even time for anyone to see it was too big?

やった!

I have no idea how big the first one was, but that's a good size to me.

There was about an inch and a half on the bottom scroll bar that definitely shouldn't have been there. Shocked But yeah, やっとやった!

I may be stupid(-er than everyone else here), but I can't understand, how you make the syllables. I guess I would need step-by-step dirrections with images to understand. Not that you have to do it, I'm just not getting it Smile
But looks really nice, that I can't argue on Smile

Actually, the example there is really terrible... I only put it up there because syllables with /l/ are the hardest to figure out. I've revised it greatly (in my head) and will re-upload those examples with the new order asap, along with an explanation. Wink

@Baldash - (C)(C)(C)(V)V(V)(C)(C)(C), when (V) could be [j]/[i] in a diphthong/triphthong, or (C) could be [j] as palatization of another (C), or (C) could be an initial [j].
E.g. /skrjestj/ [skrjestʲ] "vandalism" CCC(V)VCC(C)
Most syllables are just CV(C) or V(C).

Is that what you meant?

@Serali, thanks! Very Happy I'm working on a simpler form for everyday use as well.

Ahaha, it does kind of, doesn't it? That's a pretty uncommon complex syllable though; typically if a syllable is more than V, VC, CV, or CVC, it's CCVC or CVCC, and sometimes CCVCC (like "blast!!").

OO! Random!! There was a HUGE thunder rumble just now that totally shook our house! (^_^)

So it's kinda like English - you can do crazy stuff, you just don't generally.

WHAT?!

Why would you envy.....unless you like them?! Shocked I on the other hand can't stand them. I hate them with a passion.

The storm didn't last very long... Crying or Very sad Arg. Pretty much for the ENTIRE summer the weather people have been expecting thunderstorms in the afternoon, and they either pass right over here or happen several hours later than planned so I'm sleeping and can't enjoy them. I think there was even a tornado warning somewhere west of here, but likely (and hopefully) that didn't happen. Sometimes I wonder if the weather people try very hard - once at school it was totally blizzarding outside and I checked the weather online to see how it would be later and it said FOR THE TIME IT ALREADY WAS the chance of precipitation was 0%. Or, maybe it was 1%. And then I think later it went up to maybe 10%, so I wonder if they just completely failed to type in the other 0? I did get a good chuckle out of it though. Razz

I LOVE storms and rain. Mostly because I've been deprived of them my whole life. I've lived in Arizona, and central Texas is in the middle of a long and massive drought. ~98% of the last two years here has been bright and sunny.

EDIT: Crossposted! Razz

Our little subdivision is like cursed. Half the stuff that hits Austin doesn't affect us at all.

Well, if Austin gets really bad weather, perhaps it's for the best? It sure is nice to get rain, though... Especially with the humidity - today was in the high 90s, and then the sun came out right at midday. UGH.

That's crazy.

We had one yesterday. But it was like 9 or something at night. I don't think I slept that night......But this year was one of the craziest for storms because for almost one whole week we had them and it was insane because the sun was shining and it was pouring rain and everything.

That makes absolutely no sense what so ever. I don't understand it at all. But I bet you Global Warming is the cause of all of this.

Tolkien_Freak: I consider you lucky. But if you like them then you're not so lucky. But when they do happen it's like the ones in The Day After Tomorrow right...? Razz

Sadly, no, when we get stuff at all it's generally a light spatter that lasts for maybe 15 minutes. Often that's the sum total of our rain in a month.

I've seen it rain with the sun out. It's weird.

You'd probably like it here, yeah. The main depressing thing though is that the lake is ridiculously low - we have some islands called the 'sometimes islands' that generally exist off and on, but right now they're all one big landmass and might even be a peninsula for all I know.

@achemel: Blech. We have the same problems - it's been over 100 at its highest almost every day for months. *guttural noise*

BTW, where are the two of you? I probably know, I just don't remember.

Sometimes it's real nasty weather here, but we haven't gotten anything nasty since the early part of the year when that hailstorm came, and even then hail only fell in the northern suburbs. Do you remember hail in Lakeway, Tolkien_Freak?
