|
|
I'm starting a new lang, but ATM the blank sheet is intimidating me. Thus, I am opening it to suggestions! The only thing I have decided about it is that it'll be erg-abs, but beyond that, I'm open to anything anyone wants to see in it.
The idea is that it'll be a part of the conworld that PKM and its descendants inhabit. Its eventual family will inhabit most of the regions that PKM's descendants will take over, so while it itself will not live on, it will form a basis for loan words and loan grammar in a good number of KM languages, especially the Manyari branch (which I have yet to put in any work on). It'll also be present in written inscriptions in a few archaeological sites.
So, suggestions? I'm open to anything. I don't want too restrictive of a syllable structure, since I've already done that with PKM and taken it to an extreme in Emitare, but anything else is good. Ideally, it'll be both unusual and plausible, but that's of course ideal for everything, so it's a bit vague of a guideline.
Ready, GO! |

How 'bout tri-cons roots? That could be interesting. _________________ Bakram uso, mi abila, / del us bakrat, dahud bakrita! |

Whoops, I failed to mention that another lang I'm planning is going to have those. It's also going to have a Japanese-style verb root system (each root form attaches to affixes with a certain semantic category). |

In the mean time, how about one with lots of apophony? I don't think I've seen one with that around here. _________________ Bakram uso, mi abila, / del us bakrat, dahud bakrita! |
