I voted 'yes'. I don't have the slightest idea what that means, though.
Welcome ^_^ |

Thanks
This is how I pronounce these (to give you a chance to asset the intuitiveness of the romanization or rather just because I felt for it ):

["sOr.run] (perhaps a little cheating: I think I read somewhere that "å" in one of your conlangs were /O/, otherwise I would have guessed /o/ which is the common value of Swedish "å", which is my native language, well, it's /O/ too, but /O/ might be "o" too in Swedish, so the link "å" = /o/ is stronger)
[li:."r6_o:.@n]
[m2_or_0s . "(?)in.tK)_hun] or perhaps [m2_or_0."sin.tK)_hun]

You're Swedish?! (I hope the smiley faces convey a proper amount of excitement here) I've had an interest in Sweden and the Swedish language for a while but I haven't delved too deeply as of yet due to a rather intensive study of Japanese... anyway, how cool!
Hm, I'm not very familiar with x-sampa but your transcription of "sårrun" looks right. And then... I just can't read the other ones. (^_^) I'll have to familiarize myself with the IPA alternate, I guess. Can you do it in IPA? _________________ I have some small knowledge of:

My grandparents (and dad) are Norwegian, so I would have also guessed /O/ for å. (I'm going to make an effort to learn Norwegian on top of my Japanese this summer.) Your X-SAMPA is a bit messy, how detailed are you trying to be? |

Wait, so you decided to contradict yourself to avoid contradicting yourself? *head spins*

Jumping on the bandwagon, I would have pronounced those:
/"be'r_ra4ES "mifa'ty.u/
and
/"na'xalja "ki's4atalE/ |

Cool well, if you have any questions just ask

Tolkien_Freak wrote: | Your X-SAMPA is a bit messy, how detailed are you trying to be? |
Well, my intention was accuracy, not detail. But I felt some detail was necessary since they are phones and not phonemes, e.g. [t] would I normally interpret as an unaspirated plosive, while /t/ as an usually aspirated one.
This is it in IPA:
['be̞.ʀɐ̞.re̞ʃ . mi.fɐ̞.'tʰyu]
[nɐ̞.'hɐ̞l.jɐ̞ . kʰis.rɐ̞.'tʰɐ̞.le̞]
['sɔr.run]
[li:.'rɐ̞:.ən]
[mø̞r̥s . '(ʔ)in.tɬʰun] or [mø̞r̥.'sin.tɬʰun]
or in a less messy X-SAMPA, with [a\ e\ 2\] for [6_o e_o 2_o] and no marked aspiration:
["be\.R\a\.re\S . mi.fa\."tyu]
[na\."ha\l.ja\ . kis.ra\."ta\.le\]
["sOr.run]
[li:."ra\:.@n]
[m2\r_0s . "(?)in.tK)un] or [m2\r_0."sin.tK)un]

Eldin Raigmore, the man of multitudes. It is possible, though, to not contradict yourself when answering "yes", provided that you either simultaneously or at some point in the future answer "no" too. But the answer "no" will always be a lie, even if you also answer "yes".
eldin raigmore wrote: | Tolkien_Freak wrote: | Welcome ^_^ | What he said. Welcome, Baldash. (Not "Baldurdash"? You know, when Baldur runs a foot-race around Yggdrasill?) |
No Norse pun intended, I didn't even know about Yggdrasill. "Baldash" is a phonaesthetically modified version of "viridis".
What's the etymologies of your handles?
Hemicomputer wrote: | Xnvorú! Helm wkë omyulált kóm! |
[xn=.vo\."ru . he\lm . wu."k_h@ . ?o\m.ju."la\lt_h . kom] (or perhaps it is [Sn=.vo\."ru . xe\lm]?)
IPA: [xn̩.vo̞.'ru . he̞lm . wŭ.'kʰə . ʔo̞m.ju.'lɐ̞ltʰ . kʰom]
Thanks!
BTW, either bizhat is a bad host, or the ad-provider is bad, or both, because in perhaps 50% of all times when I view a page (except the preview which I haven't had any problems with) it causes my browser to crash. |

Close, the actual pronunciation is /Xn='vO4u RElm U'ke 'Omj@lAlt kom/
My romanization is pretty weird. |

You've got sårrun down pat. Both syllables could be stressed, but Hemnälg generally runs on a penultimate/ultimate stress pattern.
"Liiraaən" actually is ['li:.ɾa:.ən].
I rather like your pronunciation of "mörhs inthlwn" - if you don't mind I may use it when I flesh out dialectal variety. (^_^) My pronunciation is ['mœr̥s.'(ʔ)in.θl̥ɯn]. Well, kind of - the [r] is voiceless, and the [l] gets devoiced at least partially following [θ].

Ah, ha ha, I should've guessed. Mine's a unisex name in a language undergoing some serious revision and picking-apart; it comes from an older word /achámyl/ meaning "angel/spirit," sort of like "Angelus/Angela" in English... or Latin, I guess. _________________ I have some small knowledge of:
