It should be noted that both these scripts were made prior to any knowledge of IPA, but it was later applied. Also note that both scripts have been used extensively in my notes, and therefore may have little quarks with spelling certain things in my samples (hopefully corrected).

Exyan:

This was my first script, albeit a second version after some revisions (2.5). I'm fast with it, but it's rough. A lot of English influence can still be seen in it. It was originally developed for a semi-interdimensional race strangely enough named Exyans.

Geingnorsh:

This is the script I use now. It's as fast if not more so then Exyan, but also more condensed and exact. The way it's written is extremely clever too (at least in my opinion). I invented it for one of my brother's conworlds for an rp, but I fell in love with it.

I'll post how to write them sometime later. It's not quite as simple as this symbol means this sound.

They look good. They're both used to write English (at least in these forms)?

I'd love to see some more explanation, especially on the second.

Well, Exyan has a kind of English 'mode' like tengwar. The second is generally phonetic so it can be used to write a myriad of languages, though I'll only cover the symbols useful for English.

Anyway, I got Exyan done today:

But since photobucket butchered my image, you may want to download the text document linked to in the image. However, you'll need to install the font. I'll try and work on Geingnorsh, but I'm not sure when I'll get done.

Interesting... you used the OO document file format...

An octal based numerical system? Does it make it harder for your conpeople to count large numbers? Do they have 8 fingers (16 in total)?

When I need to replace a button, and open my "button box", it looks like that.

They count with just their fingers; thumbs mean 4 or 8 (l') depending on whether or not they're using two hands.

I linked to the wrong file for the Exyan explanation file (oups), that has been fixed. However, that's kind of irrelevant because I fixed the image. Oh well, the files are there if you want them.

Anyway, allow me to present Geingnorsh:

Complex, I know, but it's so clever and original. As per before I linked to the document, but you'll need this font to read it. I'd suggest just downloading the .pdf though, uless of course you actually want to write in Geingnorsh.

Oh, and for those of you who can't read .odt files, I exported them to .pdf files:
ExyanTranslator.pdf
GeingnorshTranslator.pdf

Sorry about the double post, but phpbb yelled at me for having too many links >_>.
