I'll be away for a bit. Going to Thailand to visit our daughter. Unfortunately I haven't really mastered much Thai... tonal languages intimidate me. Sad

I guess it may just be because we're used to languages that are not tonal.

I didn't even realise that Chinese didn't have spaces between the words until I realised that Thai didn't. I was just so used to grouping the characters together in Chinese to form words that I didn't notice it, until I looked at Thai and thought, where does one word end and the other begin. Razz I think after that, I began to look deeper into the languages and compared them with each other. ^_^
