Hey guys,
I just wanted to say that I won't be around for about 6 weeks from the 7th of July to the 20th of August. I'm going on holiday to Hong Kong to visit my family as well as to enjoy myself. I'm sure that this community will do fine in my absence. But it may mean that new members won't be able to enter the website.
I will see you guys soon but I can't promise that I will be able to get onto the internet whilst I'm away because I'll be staying at a village where there is limited internet connection.
Have fun, enjoy your summer.
StrangeMagic. ^_^

Hehe, no, I didn't go to see any of them live. Although most of the equestrian ones were taking part in Hong Kong, and that I passed it quite a few times, we didn't go there. ^_^ |

It was great fun, thanks! I was really happy that I could have met with my relatives and it was particularly enjoyable when I met the son of my cousin. ^_^ It makes me feel older and it means that I can add a new level to my family tree. It was good to spend some time there and I grew quite accustomed to Hong Kong's lifestyle. At first, I wasn't sure if I could cope, especially with the heat which was the first thing that hit me when I left the airport - it's always the first thing I think when I get back. We were also able to go to Hong Kong Disneyland which was quite fun but I'm not really the rollercaster type so I guess I didn't experience it all. Quite a lot of the time, I tried to get my hands on things to read because, with me living in the UK and not being able to read much Chinese, I must say that my skills in reading the characters is considerably low. >_< I don't want to lose my fluency in it, so I've been trying to learn more of it, same with my sister. However, the plan backfires a little because in Hong Kong, due to once being part of the British Territories, many signs and places still have the English name beneath it and so I often opt to read that instead of the Chinese and therefore this renders some sort of off-pitch Chinese word. >_< However, it has been a great experience and I can't wait to ge back. |
