I want to post some pictures of my race, but i am going to be gone this week and i will probably be grounded for a wile later.
try to avoid any spelling or gramatical problems i have (on other forums people complain)
My military is based on longbowmen and mounted longbowmen, we use wierd creatures, but i will draw them and post them, all in teh time to come.
another cool thing about my race is that they don't have eyelids, and instead tehy have a black mesh made of alot of tiney threads that can contrace to cloud, or block its vision, they have huge pupils in their eyes allowing them to have slight niht vision, but not enough for it to be a big advantage.
my language is curently sorta random and i'm making it up as i go
yes teh random capital letters do have a meaning right now they sorta serve as a weaker for of apostraphes.
I'll try to post a picture of my race (if i figure out how to post a picture from a file) and i think i'll add some stuff about Religion (mythology) if that's legal.
the thing with my race is that they hate fire it=bad. they don't need it for light cause they have slight nightvision, just alittle llight and they can see, and because of this they can keep their fortresses excellently insulated.
recently the lannguage of my people has gone through alot of change (historically, i'm sorta makin it up as i go) and in ancient times sentences did not involve spacing but degrading characters to show where words are seperated and the best writers were able to uses all the symbols so that they had to end the sentence early. so most proper nouns are made with random stuff seperating them usually a capital letter then an apostraphe.
about the mythology, i haven't quite gotten a religion worked out yet but i do have one ancient story that they used to believe in.
Basically they believed that teh earth was flat, but circukar and at the end of the earth it connected to the sky which was a new earth. they believed that space as can be seen from the surcace was water and that the moon was an island that would slowly sink as it waned and rise as it came back. they also believed that the stars were the bubbles made by teh fish swimming under teh water.
another story i had (i verrified it and it's ok w/ tolkien freak) a sailor wanted to return to the moon where all life had come from. he sailed as far east as he could and he reached an island filled with green people. because they lived on an island he thought that they were from the moon and could help him get there and so he returned to teh capital and told everyone. the king (being wise) sent a small army of settlers to colonize the moon and to get directions from teh green people, unfortunately they never found the green people's island and they never returned. the king dismissed the green people as a legend. when nautical improvements were made and boats could sail greater distances they discovered that the green people really did exist and that they were not infact from the moon. but we do have a respect for the green people because of this.
Here is a list of teh dynasties and what the words mean. teh names originate from teh person who started it, p.s. my people live to be about 120yrs average teh oldest are maybe 160.
SaRaan dynasty (our strength)

KhaanHai dynasty (the lord of this land)
500 yrs
100 yrs of civil wars with varried rulers
LeSaar dynasty (hero friend)
400 yrs
MuuRhaa'lai Dynasty (this is our protector)
6,000yrs
PrakNaan Dynasty (death to weaklings)
3,000yrs
KarDosh dynasty (the country's Savior)
400yrs. this is the family of teh current ruler
teh current ruler is
BarNuun'Dhai (the young leader, our king)
My society has castes, but the people put the worker caste above the warriors by giving them alot of political advantages (tribunes, giving them slight control over teh king), and teh warriors are kept happy because they are exempt rom taxes and serve as a milita, but go through intense training throughout their lives to prepare and if called upon they join off their farms. (those are the archers) the swordsman are contantly in the military or gaurd service.
the types of warriors are (in outline format)
I. swordsman
II. archers
A. Royalty
1. Generals (usually 1st borns)
2. spys (younger sons, or small advisors)
archers all go through a specific lifestyle no matter how you were born. swordsman have a choice and are deamed stronger than archers, but the training is much more difficult, and so there are much fewer.
I do have alot more, for instance the life of one of my people is verry long and detailed, i jsut never had time to submit it, i got alot of stuff, but i'm reallyy busy now so i'm submitting small stuff. |

He has extremely limited computer access right now - I think 90% of his available computer use time is the hour of 'tech' class at school.

I know this looks like it were dead already but after I read the description of his con-race I was wondering how did they keep themselves warm if they fear fire? It seems like they like to live in cold places...
