Here's a conscript I'm working on to go with a conlang (Řt) I hope to use in some kind of novel:

It's written top to bottom, left to right, has no capital/lowercase distinction (though the transliteration to the Latin alphabet uses capitalization for nouns).

Though transliteration from any natlang works because it is phonetic, it looks best using words and phrases from Řt itself.

The 'compressed computer script' is the smallest 'font' (4x3 pixels) that could be used for maximum compression of information. The cursive is a font or written style of the script that would actually be used.

Hope you like it and I'm very open to suggestions Very Happy

Welcome to Vreleksá!

Your script is cool. Looks sort of sci-fi-y. I can't tell what kind of script it is though.

Does Řt have 3 vowel lengths? That's what it looks like in your chart.

Welcome! ^^

The script definitely does look quite science fiction. Do you have any more conscripts? I'd love to see more of the grammar, lexicon etc.

Yes, it does have 3 different vowel types, the short (ah, eh, ih, oh, uh), middle (awh, oo, ouh), long (ay, ee, iy, oy) and nasal (although nasals are getting more rare).

I do have another script I originally intended for Řt, an abugida, but it was too dull.

I'll write some stuff out and post it as well, see how it turns out.

Though the script is based on a computer idea, I tried to alter it enough that it would look writeable and still retain the original shapes.

As for the grammar, I only have some basic ideas that are liable to change Wink : most of the conjugation system, order of adjectives and nouns, order of words, and some affixes.

Thanks for commenting Very Happy

Looks great! How are the letters pronounced?

The square one looks like Tek Bin and Uyata, while the cursive one reminds me of modern Vulcan.

Sorry, I forgot to do a pronunciation thing!

And here's a handwritten version of the example text Smile

BTW: how do you display images, because the [img] tags don't seem to work...

So your vowel lengths are less a phonetic distinction and more an internal description, right? (Not like Estonian like I thought, distinguishing /a a: a::/.)

I'd like to see more about Řt itself!

Sure, I don't have much yet, here's what I've got so far:

Conjugation: different suffixes for gerund, conditional, reflexive, perfect, command, and subjunctive (still working on that one Wink ) and a prefix for the past and future tense. These are wrapped around the verb, which doesn't change form depending on the pronoun. There's also a plausibility suffix, that adds doubt into the sentance, or, if used with command, being polite instead of bossy.

Grammar: word order is SVO, like English, with descriptives after the noun, like many European languages. There's still a lot of work to do here.

The nouns are determined by a couple of hierarchies, such as the "physical object" hierarchy, of which a painting (Azeethl), for example, would be a part. Some of the adjectives will also work this way, but it won't be possible to do this with all of them. I'm working on some suffixes would be like teacher, quickly, and so on.

Sure, I did this one based on Devangari today, though it has had a lot less thought put into it so far.

Pronunciation is the same as the last one for the time being.
And yes, I changed the other script's name because I'm not sure if I want to commit one of these, one I haven't done yet, or whatever. Very Happy

Very Happy Funny Do you have this one?

I added some notes to it - like the punctuation and stuff, I think it feels more natural now Smile and the actual language bit is coming along well (although it's nothing like some of the ones I've seen here - 8000+ words Shocked )

Saludos!
