The image below shows some doodling I did, trying out an assortment of decorative typefaces for the Alurhsa script, and two of the Vësúl and one of the Asketan scripts. Vësúl is the arabic-looking one in the middle toward the right side and at the bottom left, while Asketan is the vertical one at the bottom right.

The words themselves are just simple for doodling. The box has the words 'úmázhë" (this), "Álurhná" (Alurhna, the Alurhsa homeworld), and "gheles" (part or section). You can match those up to get the others outside the box, they're all one or another of those words. The Vësúl and Asketan examples both just say "alurna" (the homeworld name again), and the vertical set of letters on the far right is just the vowels "á a ä à â".

They're all great, but I really like the angular Arabic-esque one.

Oddly, the Vësúl script does seem to be appreciated by more people than the Asketan, and perhaps than the runic Alurhsa.

Another examples of that (already shared here before, I think...) is:

Mmm, yeh, I like that! ^_^ My attempts of Arbic-esque writing haven't turned out well, I haven't created one that I actually like yet.

I have tried an Arabic-esque script before, I should really re-do it. It looked more like Aramaic, only about half cursive. I would like to make it all cursive.

I used to be able to write in Theban but I have since forgotten most of the letters. LOL Instead, I've learnt to write in Futhark Runes. I have 3 A4 pages of written Thebaan upon my wall! Razz

Theban? Wow, it looks very ornamental and...ciphery, but no matter, it's nice. I'm more familiar with Futhark (or Futhorc, whatever) though.

Mmm, I love the shape and flow-iness of Theban. It looks almost undeciperable at first glance, but it's easier when you look closer and look at each letter individually.

I was also once good a Theban, but I do find it's very difficult. Too many letters look too alike. Kind of like the problem I have with Armenian, Malayalam, and several other scripts. Doable, but takes more concentration to read...

I had a school book project that was on magic, so I used Theban to tell what the pictures were without anyone actually knowing Very Happy

I love the big sample. It's amazing.

I once tried an Arabic-esque script back when I was just beginning and didn't really know much, but I didn't really like it.
