Yssida in the sample it says now with font so does that mean there's a font for it? If so I would love to have a copy.

Yes, that was the font. My rather cheap attempt at a font. I could send it to you if you like by email. Just PM me
And yssida is never capitalized. _________________ kasabot ka ani? aw di tingali ka bisaya mao na

Alright, I'll consider capitalized, just for you
No need for email. I'll post a link:)
http://www.freewebs.com/chuok/NewKawi.ttf
There you go.
How to use:
Consonants:
Important, this is an abugida, so there is always an inherent /a/ after the consonant. so when you type out k, you actually mean 'ka'
simply type out the lower case letters for the consonants.
*all symbols are the same as they would be in SAMPA unless otherwise indicated in slashes
Code: |
p
t
k
b
d
g
h
s
l
r /4/
m
n
q /N/
w
y /j/
|
Vowels.
Same, type the lower case for the vowel marks (they appear as dots).
/a/ also has its own isolated form
Code: |
a
i
u
A - isolated /a/
x - virama, used to mute an inherent vowel. Ex. /ka/ + virama = /k/
|
Since there are no isolate forms for /i/ and /u/, a temporary fix will be to use a as a vowel placeholder. Much like in Tengwar.
Thus to write isolate /i/ simply type 'A' and then type 'i'.
As this solution is temporary, I'll have to dig deeper in my research to find the I and U.
Support for isolates /i/ and /u/, and /e/ and /o/ coming soon! _________________ kasabot ka ani? aw di tingali ka bisaya mao na
