My third attempt at a good, suitable script for Raitoliste. This one I actually like, and I think I'm going to keep it.

Sorry it's on lined paper, that's the only thing I had at school.

I don't have any examples yet. If someone has something good to translate (not a 'challenge'), that'd be awesome.

"The boat man can dance, and the boat man can sing, and the boat man can do most any old thing."

E reimi (it's here):

Normal Romanization (Romihĝste):
Zïekasákalo etehasw, zïekasákalo etehastw, à zïekasákalo itiiti rĝke zw.

ASCII character adaptation:
Zi.ekasa'kalo etehasw , zi.ekesa'kalo etehastw, a` zi.ekasa'kalo itiiti ro/ke zw .

It doesn't gloss easily (totally off mood/aspect system), so here's the best I've got:
(abitity)-boat-(person(male)) music-(move), (ability)-boat-(person(male)) music-(speak), (and) (ability)-boat-(person(male)) almost everything do.

Literal translation:
The male-boat-person (any person whose job relates to boats) can dance, the male-boat-person can sing, and the male-boat-person can do almost everything.

Thanks.

I think I actually do, too. Better than the first two tries.

i would assume that if this wasn't written in ballpoint pen or paper it would be a bit thicker and less squiggly? If that is the case, very, very nice!

I wrote it with my writing instrument of choice - a mechanical pencil.

And I have bad handwriting even when it comes to my own conscripts.

The idea is nice anyway. And you have to brush up on your penmanship or the conscripts will get you! (bad pun yea)

I also have bad handwriting but I would probably tend to more rectilinear types of conscripts. They are easier to do on paper and even easier on computer, yep I'm lazy.

This one sort of needs to be curvy, due to the conworld setting in which it is placed. But yeah.

I probably could make a more angular version of this one if I felt like it.

I'm just thinking of what it will look like on computer, (not the scanned one from the paper). Perhaps if you have the means you could even make a font for that. Good Luck!

I wish I had some way - the only program I've ever used for putting conscripts into the computer is GlyphMaker, which couldn't possibly handle anything this curved. And I suck at graphics programs, though I probably will end up giving it a try.

The font would be tough - you'd have to make the computer thing the writing direction was right-to-left, and then turn the paper on its side once it printed.

I'd absolutely love to try, if I can find one that I can use.
