What is the most frightening vision you have ever had? Did it involve a murder? How old were you when it happened?
Also, is there any other relatives that are/were mediums? |

hmmmm... lets see.... the most frightening vision that i've ever had was when i saw a tall man in a black robe with blonde hair standing at the bottom of my basement stairs. i still dont know what that was about...
but anyway im pretty sure that it didnt involve a murder and i was about 5 when it happened. it was scary
and no... none of my other relatives are mediums... which is weird. unless theyre hiding it from me lol _________________ Join us at: The Renewed Spirits Forum!

That is scary. I have not seen a ghost yet, but I hope to sometime in my life. But I was reading somewhere that people are like radios. One radio can get really good reception (psychics, mediums, etc.). Another radio might get okay reception (see ghosts every now and a gain), whilst another gets bad reception (only sees a ghost once or never). |

you're exactly right. humans are on a different "frequency" than ghosts. but if humans learn how to tune in to ghosts, you can see them all the time. for example, everytime you talk to your spirit guide you tune into a higher frequency. try contacting Kapri sometime to see what i mean. (everyone, Kapri is davids spirit guide ) _________________ Join us at: The Renewed Spirits Forum!

i pm'd some stuff about how to contact kapri to you... (i think) but go to a quiet place, close your eyes, clear your mind, and say "i want to contact my spirit guide" 3 times. start asking him simple questions that are yes or no, and then elaborate little by little. get to know him. _________________ Join us at: The Renewed Spirits Forum!

I have heard the same theory in protestant circles actually. At the moment, I'm praying for the return of my beloved cat, who disappeared 2 weeks ago now. _________________ Dwirze ghárìlen ershónyá áqálán.

God doesnt care if you are another religion, he loves you anyway. if you do good in life, then YOU WILL GO TO HEAVEN!!!!!!! and you'll just have to spend time in pugatory being cleansed from all of your sins. but then after that you'll be with all the saints and angels and jesus and whoever you follow and what-have-you. | If I posted in the wrong thread, I'm sorry. Should I edit my post? Or just delete it? Or move it? (I don't want to start a new thread with it; if it shouldn't be here and shouldn't be on another existing thread, I'd rather just delete it.) |

halyihev, if you keep praying, then i can guarentee that your cat will come back. here's my suggestion to you: say your prayers every night, asking god for help and thanking him for all the things that you already have. and at the end of your prayers, say "dear lord, please bring him (your cat) back!" 3 times; one for the father, one for the son, and one for the holy spirit. and most important KEEP BELIEVING!!! once you stop believing, then your hope goes too. but remember, god helps those who help themselves, so make sure you look for your cat, and do everything that you possibly can to find him. dont just sit there and wait for him to come back. you must attach action to your words. _________________ Join us at: The Renewed Spirits Forum!

All that you have written is how I've been looking at and handling this. (Other than the ritualistic 3-times bit, actually.)
I am trying to keep up hope. It has been two weeks now, and I have been praying and weeping before God constantly on this. Plus, I've searched everywhere including as far into the woods as I dare without becoming lost myself. And talked to all the neighbors, searched any buildings he could have gotten shut into, put up posters in the neighborhood, at the local stores and supermarkets. I've alerted all veteranarians and animal shelters, and animal control officers, in the area. I've had an ad in the newspaper and on the radio. I've alerted a wide range of friends who I know are praying people and asked them to pray for my cat, and that he will be brought back to me safe and sound.
I am truly at the point where I cannot think of anything I haven't done.
My concern is that we're in a very rural, forested area. There are animals like fishers (a sort of wolverine/weasel relative), foxes, and coyotes, although these have been rare this year. And, there is a LOT of wild territory between us and the next towns in any direction.
I'm trying to keep my hope up, and hold on to the belief that God will bring him back to me. And, trying to let go enough to a) keep functional and b) accept what God ordains if it doesn't happen to be what I want.
This is a very tough and painful balance, and situation, and certainly I appreciate any and all prayers. _________________ Dwirze ghárìlen ershónyá áqálán.

having a pet run away is certainly a hard thing to deal with, i will keep the cat in my prayers. if this is any comfort to you, cats, whether they live out doors or not, tend to remember where there home is. this is why so many more cats are found when they get lost as opposed to dogs. if dogs get too far away from their home, then they loose their scent trail for whatever reason. cats, for reasons unbenounced to me, always seem to fine their way back. _________________ Join us at: The Renewed Spirits Forum!

In a way I feel a bit silly or something, but I confess that I've been positively overwhelmed with this loss. I think I was feeling depressed anyway, but having my beloved cat go missing has left me crushed.
On the other hand, this has been a time of turning back towards God in multiple ways, and a time when my wife and I have drawn closer.
But right about now having a miracle, i.e. my cat returning, would certainly do wonders for my faith in general. _________________ Dwirze ghárìlen ershónyá áqálán.

We still cannot prove nor disprove it, ghosts' existence. Same goes for the existence of a god, gods, God or deity. Though I am more inclined to believing in one. In fact I do believe in God. However, I don't really believe in ghosts in general. _________________ kasabot ka ani? aw di tingali ka bisaya mao na

hey everyone,
just a remider that its almost samhain, so its the time where the veil between this world and the next is the thinest. on samhain, just remember to well... remember your lost loved ones. perhaps say a prayer, and whenever a trick or treater comes to the door send them off with a good (silent) blessing.
happy halloween everyone!!! _________________ Join us at: The Renewed Spirits Forum!

Samhain is the Pagan name for Hallowe'en, I'm a Pagan and will be celebrating it. It is also the debateable first day of the Celtic calendar. It is one of the most special days for Pagans all over the world. |
