Preview for the new Raitolïihaste (haven't done the whole thing yet):
It says 'Raitoliste'.
I'll be gone all day Saturday, so the whole thing probably won't be up 'till Monday or so. |

I made a mistake - the earlier sample actually says Raitolïa. Oops! |

Yay! It's UP! (Sorry for the massive image, I can post a smaller one if you want.)
Direction: Top-to-bottom/Left-to-Right, with boustrophedon in individual vowel-consonant pairs. Pairs are vowel-consonant in order.
To write diphthongs, put the vowel that doesn't take mora as a smaller version either before (if it comes before) or after (if it comes after).
[a] is rarely used as its presence is inferred from a lack of any vowel (the script is in essence an abugida).
And yes, I realize I forgot a rounding diacritic.
The letter forms may change, as only [k] and [h] got close to what I was going for ([h] only really). |

Easiest to explain in an image:

Thanks. Both of those are easier to read. (Still nice-looking, too!)

That's boustrophedon in general; can you illustrate how you can have "boustrophedon in individual vowel-consonant pairs"? And how that's different from just plain "boustrophedon"?
BTW can we assume that the glyphs that are easier/faster to write are also the more commonly written? and the more difficult/slower-to-write ones are the rarer? Because some of them do look like they'd take a lot of time and/or effort to write; try writing a longish text or several not-too-short ones rapidly and see what I mean. |
