|
|
First thing you need to know is that my conworld is all one country spread across various islands. Some of the cities are:
Šelavil
Kanvokam
Šajrejlon
Sara'elpol
Some of the ethnic groups are:
Neiriko - spread around Æejl
Lorošae - northern parts
Le - equatorial areas
Elyseri - southern areas
Gərmatsvelty - desert (only on two islands)
Šilvoj - northern parts
Kationa - equatorial areas
Those aren't all of them.
It has two moons. One of the moons has a world of its own (to be posted in a separate topic).
Want to know more?
Have any questions?
I'm leaving for vacation tomorrow. I will see you after. _________________ Iwocwá ĵọṭãsák.

Those aren't all of them. | Well, that's one obvious question.

I'm in Bangladesh right now. I have limited computer access. The people eat the fruits they grow. _________________ Iwocwá ĵọṭãsák.

Well first thing is I've never heard of a conworld having one country spread across different islands. So that to me is alone amazing so I would like to here more about it when you have access to a computer.
Really interesting start I'd say. How's it in Bangladesh? _________________

It's nice, but rainy.
In my conworld, my largest cities (which are listed above by size) are feeling 24, 35, 19, and 45 degrees Celsius. _________________ Iwocwá ĵọṭãsák.

(I don't really know Celsius too well, I just know that 20 is somewhere around 80 degrees F.)
How do you pronounce your conworld's name? |

19C = 66F (about right)
24C = 75F (about right)
35C = 95F (hot; close to the upper edge of "tolerable". Don't work too hard outdoors, or if you do, watch out for heatstroke.)
45C = 113F (way past tolerable; everyone but mad dogs and Englishmen go inside and stay there.)
C= (F+40)*5/9 - 40
F= (C+40)*9/5 - 40

Why is Sara'elpol even inhabited at all, much less your fourth biggest metropolis?
OTOH if Šajrejlon is in your Northern hemisphere, and this is their summer there, and they only get up to 19C, it sounds like a pretty cold place. Why is it inhabited? Why is it your third largest city? (Of course, if it's in their Southern hemisphere, or now is their winter their, they have a pretty mild winter, so my question is based on an incorrect assumption on my part.) |

I used to live in Arizona, summer temperatures of over 100 were common (though over 110 was less so - maybe a week a year). Still...! |

Damn! One time it was so hot it felt like 10,000°F! I think it was just 100°F. _________________

No it wasn't actually 10,000°F it just felt like it. If it was that hot we'd all be dead. _________________

Yeah... I can't imagine Arizona with humidity like we get here in Texas. That might just render it uninhabitable. Well, more uninhabitable, in any case. |
