Progress!

I have made yet more progress on my first conscript, which is for Adpihi.

(I need several hundred characters because it's going to be a syllable-block character-set.)

I've completely classified all the connected "multigraphs" (two vertices may be connected by more than one edge, and a vertex may be connected to itself by one or more edges) with 3 or fewer vertices all of degree 4 or less (there are hundreds), or 4 or fewer vertices all of degree 3 or less (there are thousands).

I've ordered them by Gary Shannon's (fiziwig's) "Pieces, Loops, Even Crossings, Odd Crossings, and Tips" classification scheme. Since they're all connected they all have just one piece. I don't know whether I counted the loops the way he does/did/would have done.

I did it using Excel, so up 'til now they're just rows of numbers -- I'll have to draw them too, and I'll probably do that later. Or at least I'll do that with the "simpler" ones; though I expect I'll have to draw a few to find out what "simple" means.

Sorry I just noticed this, but your description sounds very interesting! Do you have examples from the chart?

I've decided that when I do a 'native' script for the logical language, it will be an abugida, due to the open-syllable restriction.

I barely understood anything of what you just said but I will want to see the script, or any of your demo versions Smile

I owe it to you all.
If my new computer had set up without problems I could do it soon.
But it didn't.
I have to get the monitor communicating with the CPU.
It may be after June 10th or 18th before I get it fixed.
I hope I get it fixed earlier, though.
