Story Made Short

Once upon a time a king from a forgotten realm conceived a new plan to make his kingdom revive and become the most glorious one ever. Nobody had forseen that he would come up with such a stupid and nefarious plan but they had no choice but to make his dream come true if possible. All of his nobles, generals and even captains would have to strive to find the rainring, the perfected version of the rainbow. The thing is that nobody knows anything about it, such object or artifact was not even a local legend or myth so they could not figure out how they would locate it in time before the monarch could even command their execution by a decree.

One of his loyal captains seems to be the only one that might have a chance to solve this with some help of an outsider with a bad reputation and an drinking habit that is already out of control. That thing this man may retrieve from his expedition might be the only way to save the kingdom or sent it straight to oblivion.

We've been waiting almost a year for the next two paragraphs: Can we see them this month or next? It sounds like an exciting story.
