Necroequiflagellatrix

Note the word combines Latin and Greek; "-flagella-" is Latin, "-atrix" is Latin, "-equi-" is Latin, but "Necro-" is Greek.

Perhaps it should be

Necrohippoflagellatrix

Or perhaps Mortuoequiflagellatrix? (Not quite sure how to compound it on there)

-tor is the masculine version, for all you non-Latin folks out there.

I'm sorry, but what the heck does it mean? Very Happy

I see the dead and I see the horse, but what should I do with them? Very Happy

Razz
(I'm wondering how many people will get the reference. I bet non-Americans won't.)

Mortuo-/Necroequiflagellatrix means 'woman who whips dead horses'.
In English, the phrase 'to beat a dead horse' means 'to continually bring up a topic far after it has ceased to be relevant'.

That's right.

We might also consider:
necropsittacopolipis or necropapagalopolipis
or
mortuopsittacovendatrix

Think of your own word!
E.g., what do you call someone who cries over spilt milk?

Too bad I can complete my own weird creation....

gynosterearkanthodactylos...

(standing for woman that cries loud because of a thorn in her finger)

I know gynos has something to do with woman and stereos being strong (or in this case loud?), but I lack of the proper knowledge of Greek terminology.
