Fairest of all greetings to my fellow Conworld (and Conlang) creators,
Since I am fairly new to this Website, I want to salute you all.

This is my forst official post. The following drawing is NOT the entire worldmap, but only a part of it. Should I precise that it is the Middle Continent. Everything is hand-drawn by ME, and therefore it belongs to ME ONLY. I would greatly appreciate comments and feedbacks that are constructive!

-- Cordelier.

Éstéa:

Éstéa (More detailed):

A Brief Note:
I had to redraw this map over five times, without counting all the rough drafts I had thrown away. Éstéa is where the greater adventured of my story occur, therefore making it my life-long work. Also, it should be noted that this map is still INCOMPLETE, and still needs more work.

P.S.: More maps are to come soon...[/b]

Youkoso!

That looks pretty cool. Can't say too much about it, but it's a REALLY pretty map. I wish I could draw so well >_>

Looking forward to info on the langs the names come from.

WOW, that's one heck of a map! How did you make the mountains look so good?
It reminds me of Middle-earth (in a good way), because of the complexity and the overall style. Can't wait to see more nevertheless.

@Tolkien_Freak:
Most of the names (especially from the Northwestern to the Northeastern parts) and what figures in the Greater Circle of Mountains (Aurfinor, the Blessed Ring) are Elvish (Unengwé). To the far-east, Baräd, is Dwarvish (Bathgär). What is in the Lesser Circle of Mountains is for the Humans (they have 3 dialects). And the rest are all Amaviric (Egypt) and going eastward.

@Kiri:
I am glad you like it! XD The mountains, to your deception, were not the hardest to draw, but rather the forests (I hate them). But, if you search correctly on the web, you can find out how to draw mountains. Just make sure all are uniform and going in a certain, specific direction, with the shadow going in the opposite of where the sunlight is. In my case, that is what I did.

Enio öner éa fanel shrid vodinin! I offer you peace!

Beautiful map! I'll look for your story in Barnes & Noble in the future!

What does the map look like if the placename labels are written in the native scripts of your conpeople? That is, in the orthographies of your conlangs?

-----------

Everyone here will respect your copyright to that material. But we can't advise you how to go about protecting it from anyone but us; there are ways, but we aren't expert in them.

@Killerken:
I look foward for you to read my story. I am at Chapter 7, right now, with about 50-60 pages so far. I am, unfortunately, still at the introduction of the overall story. More details of that will, probably, be posted elsewhere on this website. Thank you, though!

@Eldin Raigamore:
I do not know if I understand your question correctly, but it is pretty much plains and rivers (and few lakes) surrounded by forests and mountains. I have found, to your deception, no place to put any swamps...

@Kiri:
Ingenor is mostly made of grassland (on plains), a few plateaus*, and few very small hills. Enough to satisfy horses* to run freely and at will. You could "almost" compare it to Tolkien's Rohan.

*I could try to send the drawings of my bestiary, if you want, but I do not know where to send that...
