Hi, I'm 15 and I love making conlangs and studying languages in general.
I have been making conlangs for a while but most of them haven't been successful enough yet but hopefully I will manage to make one that I like (maybe my current one) and then learn it and become fluent in it.

I'm only fluent in English so far but I study German and Spanish at school - So I know some things about them. I have also passively studied many languages notably Chinese characters (standard Mandarin simplified), Volapük and Lojban.

I like Lojban - the grammar is great and Volapük is good too.
Finnish, Greenlandic and Icelandic sound interesting too.

Nobody at school is interested in languages so I'm glad there is the internet Smile

So yeah, that's all I have to say really.

Hi! You both make me feel old and I'm not that much older than you. Laughing My friend at college took a semester of Icelandic - it was VERY interesting (or, at least, what he attempted to explain/teach to me was very interesting). Finnish also is amazing.

Welcome, welcome! Very Happy Bienvenido! (I think... it's been awhile since I learned any Spanish... or is that Italian?) Wil...kommen? Rolling Eyes <-- Pardon me; I use a lot of various smiley faces when I post.

Thanks.
And yes, that is Spanish
And I wasn't sure whether it's Wilkommen or Willkommen (so I looked it up and it's Willkommen).

I actually don't know too much about Volapük, but what I've seen seems very interesting. Where did you learn it?

Icelandic and Finnish both sound interesting.

A follow-up to Kiri's question, what's your favorite natlang?

Everyone's older than me! I'm a spring chicken! A few years younger than twix93!

EDIT: I forgot to welcome you. Welcome. Your bags are being taken to your room. If you have any questions, call the concierge.

Out of the two I learn at school, Spanish, but out of all of them in the world, it depends. Armenian has the nicest script, but Finnish and Hungarian have the nicest grammar and Norwegian/Swedish sound nice when they are spoken.

Oh, hell, I feel old. Anyone here over 19? Cause if you're 19 or younger I'm at least three times as old as you are. I'm hoping there are some folks 29 or older, as well; then I wouldn't even be twice as old as the next oldest member.

I'd say something like "hello" or "welcome" but Kexyana lack of such terms prevents me from greeting you like that...

Well, I'm, eh, 27...

OK, I feel better. Seems there are several people 29 and older and not many 14 and younger.
