In the spirit of Eldin's latest challenge, here's another Monty Python one:

English:
-Bring out your dead!
-Here's one.
-Nine pence.
-I'm not dead!
-What?
-Nothing -- here's your nine pence.
-I'm not dead!
-Here -- he says he's not dead!
-Yes, he is.
-I'm not!
-He isn't?
-Well, he will be soon, he's very ill.
-I'm getting better!
-No, you're not, you'll be stone dead in a moment.
-Oh, I can't take him like that -- it's against regulations.
-I don't want to go on the cart!
-Oh, don't be such a baby.
-I can't take him...
-I feel fine!
-Oh, do us a favor...
-I can't.
-Well, can you hang around a couple of minutes? He won't be long.
-Naaah, I got to go on to Robinson's -- they've lost nine today.
-Well, when is your next round?
-Thursday.
-I think I'll go for a walk!
-You're not fooling anyone, y'know. Look, isn't there something you can do?
-I feel happy... I feel happy!
[whop]
-Ah, thanks very much.
-Not at all. See you on Thursday.
-Right, see you Thursday.

(yeah, it's long)

Raitoliste:

Gloss, for sure! (As soon as you can get around to it -- no pressure.) I think we all want these in every Translation Challenge.

Pronunciation, when someone else asks for it too, when you can get around to it. Most people probably like these too, though I don't know that everyone thinks they're required.

Orthography (your language's native script) would also be good; probably, given the nature of this bboard, higher-priority than the pronunciation. Maybe higher than the gloss, too, though actually without the gloss it would just be a bunch of pretty marks. (On another bboard, without the "conscript" emphasis Vreleksa has, writing it in your conscript might not be considered so important.)

and BTW: Thanks!

Glosaa. M Srsdejic.
early-/er/. Again Thursday-on
S aj, m Srsdejic.
thats so, again Thursday-on

Speakers of Hemnlg don't have money, vehicles with wheels, or Thursday (they run on a 10-day week, so nothing really matched up with "Thursday" exactly). /Glosaa/ (glos-aa, early-/er/) is short for an idiom for something easily done, "(so easy it is [it can be done]) earlier than the sun" (bda larm sg) gloson/glosaa nu Sller. Wearing a glass mask is an idiom for trying to hide something really obvious or lying through your teeth, and "seeing the Plains of Melancholy" is an idiom for death - the Plains of Melancholy are the first of three lands the dead pass through (and sometimes get lost in) on the way to forever with the mother goddess Baakj.

I thought the informal, lower speech was better suited to this translation. Smile The pronunciation is a bit different from the preferred standard and some of the grammar is a bit lax. Hope my gloss is okay. (^_^)

Laughing
I don't know why seeing a translation of skit I've already seen in English makes me chuckle all over again. But it does.
Thanks!
