I found 2 scripts today on Omniglot! Now you know what I think about them! What about you guys?

The Pretty Scripties:

Chelyesta Good Ol David Peterson
Malíi Jesus Ramos

Now tell me what you think of them! I love them both but Malíi is my favorite. Mr. Green

I like both of them, the aesthetics are really good and the function seems to work well as well.

judging by Omniglot's text Ramos would take "it looks like Tengwar" as a complement; but it doesn't look all that much like Tengwar, merely vaguely reminiscent (you can tell at a glance it doesn't have the bowstaves, ascenders and descenders, open and closed, open-at-the-top vs open-at-the-bottom, bow-left-of-staff vs bow-right-of-staff, single bow vs double bow type structure. It's actually superior to Tengwar at least in respect of the letters' distinctiveness from one another. IMNHSO.) And it has matres lectionis points like Masoretic Hebrew; kind of nice.

I commented on chelyesta elsewhere; but there, the main question was "does it or doesn't it look like (fill in name of writing-system)?" I said it didn't look like much of anything else, except a bit like NorthWest European Runes (perhaps as much as Malii looks like Tengwar); and that I liked the way it looks.

I agree with Strange Magic that they both look good and, as near as I can guess, probably function well too.

I agree with both of you. They both have potential and they're so pretty!
