In your conreligion, where do people worship?

In the CCoD, people worship at their local Eirolotaro. This consists of a building or enteryway, an indoor meditation hall, and finally an outside altar. The outside altar is screened in to keep pesky bugs out, but it is unprotected from the weather. Therefore when it rains, the church service or meditation or what have you must move to the indoor meditation hall.

Rain is seen as an important commodity for the altar, because it cleans and purifies it and it also makes it shiny. The altar is made entirely out of rock, and there are five rocks that make up the altar (representing the five elements: God, Earth, Air, Water, and Fire). There is also a center stone made out of quartz, which is said to absorb the church's prayers and send them to God.

Rain water is a natural resource, so it is considered automatically holy, because it comes from God. Rainwater is collected (or snow) and is put at the door of the Eirolotaro so that people can bless themselves as they walk in.

Adpihi religion is mostly a private relationship between the worshipper and God; so they tend to worship anywhere they can find peace and quiet and privacy and a lack of distractions. But people in charge of small children -- especially their own children -- often lead them in worship; and people going through stressful or hectic times may worship just wherever they happen to be.

In my conworld, there is a special temple made out of marble that stands in the middle of the city, where statues of both Goddesses are built. A person may go to the feet of the Goddess's statue in which he/she worships and place a candle at her feet, representing the light of his/her prayer. Red, blue, white and green candles are used to pray for the elements, being fire, water, air and earth. However, a worshiper may place a yellow candle, representing the the person's Spirit Guide, which is seen as the Goddess's own form in that person's psyche. Yellow candles are used in prayer if a person is in need of guidance or moral aid.

Special rituals and mediations can be held with the statues or in one's own home. Mediations are done for private prayers, and the Rituals can be that of celebration or group prayer.
Children, until they reach the age on which they can worship on their own, are brought to the statues to worship with their parents, family or older sibling.

The members of the Jinnic-Lorošae religion go to pray at their local husonas, which is always the tallest building in town (or the tallest building in the neighbourhood if they live in a large town) to represent reaching the heavens. It always has a distinctive top and colour so that a traveller coming in can know whether the people there worship his religion.

During special ceremonies, Agdrisi followers gather at the entrance of some cave with several chambers, the most important, the one where the ritual sacrifice takes place is in the middle of all other chambers. (All the chambers are interconnected by short hallways.) The curious thing is that they did this so every one else could hear the screams without ever realizing what really happens to the ritual victim. This thrill is part of their path to a more fervorous life... Since this is just part of the traditions of a small region in the Wall Empire, some Counts and the Twin Kings of Alirdyse and Layse are looking to, errr, put an end to this practices (even if their "final solultion" is even more cruel than the rituals themselves).
