Oo, it looks worth visiting. I never really thought of joining another forum though - this was my first one! ^_^ I'll definitely give it a look though. Sometimes I put things up on deviantart too; there's a group for conlangers that's pretty interesting. Thanks for the link!

Phew! All that converting to font size 9 took forever!

Well, compared to the "Al convinced Bob..." one, you could say that the proverbial manure has really hit the bladed ventilation unit. I'm not even entirely sure I did this right. What with this being supposed to be an alt-world proto-language, I did what I could to make everything about the language essentialy from scratch. Though there are many things that I did use natlangs for inspiration on (namely the discourse markers, which I looked to Japanese Joshi for inspiration on), as well as, of course, the original Aalmok.

I've considered it. And I do also have an account on Incatena, that I've had since the one here (though I never posted anything there because I was a bit intimidated by all the people there at the time). I don't think I will until I've at least prepared the outline for my AR grammar such that I can post on it. Even though I used the original Aalmok as a base, the new grammar has almost nothing in common with it.

TBH, I much prefer this board. I know I'd get a lot more response for my posts on AR grammar on the other two sites than I would here, but when I looked at all the translation challenge threads on them, I noticed a distinct lack of feedback on any of the attempts made. I personally feel that it's entirely possible to write down a full blown, million page *exaggeration alert* grammar for your conlang and still not be able to use it effectively without making all those attempts to make content in it and receiving feedback on your usage.

Besides, after all of the posts I've read from you in particular, I have a lot more trust in your reviews and their thoroughness than I have in the big guns of the other bboards, who appear to gloss over some of the conlangs that are posted there.

On the other hand, I suppose it's certainly possible that I'll get an account at CBB and start posting there and at Incatena, so, if your interested, they'll both be under LingoDingo as well.
