I'm translating this into five languages for my mom's boss, for whatever reason. (^_^)
We the people… don’t tread on me.
我々国民。。。私を踏みにじるな。 (Feel free to correct this one... should I have used /o/? Is the first part absolutely terrible?  )
/wareware kokumin... watashi-ni fuminijiru-na/
Kar skörran… bläkanåen lum.
Esruc nyssës… ssä thilfä mýs es.
Lëi dhän… ghilem gyn tä-lí.
Alaceg…hh(uu)suuguunecegaaxxa.
Bir, al-demad… no-uhibé khasa (this language coming soon - revised ddamaiche!  )

The Japanese looks fine. I would have guessed wo though, but IDK.
You romanize it a bit weird though. I would have put spaces for the hyphens, and a space between wareware and kokumin.

I left in the hyphens, but is the rest better?  I typed it up pretty fast and failed to double-check it, so the space between the first two words must've gotten lost somewhere.

| It's a couple of things from early American history. 'We the people' is the opening of the American Constitution, and 'don't tread on me' is a slogan on some revolutionary flags (accompanied by a picture of a snake). |

Yeah, it's 'don't step on me'. Tread as a verb means step.
It probably makes more sense if you know the context, but it does kind of ...not. I guess it's one of those things you learn before you know to question it and never think to ^_^ (in America at least) |

Haha, sorry - I didn't think about any of you not being familiar with it.  Honestly though, I wouldn't even have thought of it if my mother hadn't ordered me to translate it for her boss. He's into that "Common Sense" book that came out... recently? I read it and remember agreeing with most of it, but I've since forgotten what it was I read and agreed with. I would recommend it, though; it was a pretty quick read for me anyway.

"Common Sense" by Thomas Paine? You're right, it is pretty recent; it was first published only 233 years ago.
You're probably talking about the bicentennial of his death (he died in 1809). A lot of his stuff is being re-published this year. The French Revolution's "Declaration of the Rights of Man and the Citizen" may have been influenced by him; if so then he also indirectly influenced the U.N.'s "Declaration of Human Rights".
You should read this about his part in the French Revolution (though he got to France in 1790), his imprisonment by the Committee of Public Safety during the Reign of Terror, his release and return to America and his eventual death June 8 1809; he was buried on his farm in New Rochelle.
To us (my generation of USAns), his most famous work is probably "The Crisis". The most famous lines are probably the start of the first paper of the Crisis;

I find Thomas Paine's more philosophical works annoying, but let's not get into that. It would degenerate fast. |

I find his writings on political philosophy just fine.
It's only his writings on religion (viz. "The Age of Reason") I find "annoying".

Ahaha, yes... Well, I read that one too, but I actually meant the book based on it by Glenn Beck (I had to look up his name...). So far, most of the people I've mentioned the author to (when I remember the name, that is) have gotten annoyed just at hearing his name and go no further with the subject, though I'm not sure I understand why he makes them angry. 
Also, thank you for the Bengali translation - it's such a lovely-looking language.
