Really?! It was based on Japanese! Hence this:

No iči farukä ladume mamisuka
Hesawo kibukä nadu e ajimesu......

Part of a song......I forget the meaning at the moment as I have to find the blasted book that the translation is in. But I guess it said that cause of all the ë's.

I can see the Japanese as well. It probably was the diacritic then.

Translation! Very Happy Can I see?

I bet if I wrote it like this.....

No ichi farukai ladume mamisuka
Hesawo kibukai nadu e ajimesu

.....it would probably say Japanese. The translation is in a book somewhere need to find it first. This is what you get when you have journals filled with everything imaginable all over your room....XD

But I love keeping journals it's fun.

I wish I could have notebooks filled with awesomeness all over my room but, sadly, it's much too small to allow for it. Confused

So where do keep all of your conscripts then?

Well, I don't have nearly as many as you, so they fit nice and compactly into a single notebook. Wink My notebooks are mostly filled with art and short stories.

Nice.

Mine are for conscripts and drawings of all the fauna in my conworld and of course my diaries. And then they're ones for all the bugs I see in a day. I ♥ bugs. I think they're fascinating.

Another reason why most of my books are about them.

Ahhh, bugs. I have to say I freak out a little around bugs, but it's not because they're creepy crawlies; I'm just afraid of being bitten, or stung, or pinched, or otherwise violated by their various forms of defense and just being mean. Rolling Eyes I think I prefer snakes and amphibians and some birds and most things that are cute and fluffy. Also aliens, and mythology. (^_^) Though, I don't draw much of any of that anymore.

Öü, bugs. I think I have mild arthropophobia (if you can call it that) - not just bugs, but spiders (especially spiders) and even crabs and shrimp and stuff just kind of freak me out. Scorpions>spiders>big bugs (like roaches)>small bugs>crustaceans.

I remember in 7th grade we had to do a 'bug project' - a styrofoam block with bugs pinned on it and labeled. I was literally crying before I had even started. *crunch SQUEEEK*

In 7th grade we were dissecting things. A fish, and a crayfish, and... a frog, I think. Bugs didn't come until 9th grade and ag science. Rolling Eyes Stupid ag science. I wish I'd have taken the other one, earth science.

Had to go look it up, but LOL ^_^

My first thought was that it had to do with some Japanese thing called an aibou Razz
(Apparently aibou in Japanese means 'companion, friend, pal', so it could also be the fear of people close to you ^_^

(oh is an alternative way to spell what in Japanese is spelled ou (おう).)

Geniophobia is a favorite of mine. (^_^) And I'm sure we're all glad we don't have xenoglossophobia. At least, I'm assuming everyone here doesn't have it. ?!?!

aibophobia lol; also there's albophobia, aka racism :S

some I found funny/etc were:
algophobia (fear of pain)
anthropophobia (fear of people/being in company etc - like what Tolkien_Freak was talking about)
Catoptrophobia - fear of mirrors or of one's own reflection.
Cibophobia, Sitophobia – aversion to food,
Decidophobia – fear of making decisions.
Gymnophobia – fear of nudity.
heliophobia (fear of sun(light))
Hexakosioihexekontahexaphobia – fear of the number 666. (oh dear!)
Nomophobia – fear of being out of mobile phone contact. (oh jeez)
Panphobia – fear of everything or constantly afraid without knowing what is causing it.
Phobophobia – fear of having a phobia. (YES!!)
Nihilophobia - fear of nothingness (unfortunately not real, but an interesting one)
Ballistophobia - fear of bullets (a reasonable one)
Consecotaleophobia - fear of Chopsticks ( Sad but I love chopsticks!)
Staurophobia- fear of the Crucifix, or crosses (makes sense since it was an instrument of torture)
Papaphobia - fear of the Pope (!!)
Hedonophobia - fear of feeling pleasure Sad

anyways... Very Happy

A xenoglossophobic linguist is a wonderful paradox ^_^

@Aert: I always love lists of funny phobias. Those are pretty good.

Hey! I wanna be a xenoglossophobic guy if you don't mind...

(Goes out looking for his notes on his own conlang and destroys and burns everything leaving no evidence of its existence...)

Noooo! Don't do that, kyonides! Shocked

@Aert, I also love chopsticks. (^_^) And nihilophobia makes me think of this show called Mononoke, in the Umibozu arc, when this weird ayakashi monster makes the characters name their worst fears and the main guy's all like "I fear nothing (bwahahaha <--- he doesn't actually say that)" and then he turns into nothing and seems sort of surprised or curious that something actually happened, cuz, you know, fearing nothing doesn't usually imply actually fearing nothing and then getting turned into nothing... *deep breath* ANYWAY. Random.

*Dies*

You guys kill me. XD

And bugs aren't that bad. Why just today I encountered about 50 butterflies 2 of them being Eastern tailed blues ( although the last one might've been a relative of said Eastern tailed blue cause it was larger....). Although I doubt you would've wanted to be around the Arthenio ( sp? ) plant that I came across.....

.....it was literally infested with wasps....Yellow Jackets, Baled Faced Hornets, European Paper Wasps.....and one really HUGE one that could've crushed the rest.....Idk what it was but it was fast. Every time it came out again I tried to get a better look at it to figure out what it was....apparently it wanted it's ID to be a complete secret cause it kept flying in the other direction.

Damn it. But I had nice day at my local park. I went with a friend as my mommy would've had a heart attack at seeing all the pretty waspies. Mr. Green

P.S. Did I spell "Arthenio" right? I need to know because I want to Google the plant and find out more about it. It's very important.

Oh, God, Serali, you sound like a zoology (or, wasp-ology, for that matter Very Happy ) expert! Smile

Phobias are quite nice Smile
My favourite is Hippomonstrosesquipedaliophobia - fear of very long words Smile
