I thought this might be fun. (^_^) The phrase is a quote from my brother: "I like to spend money like I have it."
Sa thiama am’ palecht yf he-rúlyrh-nat
Also, feel free to translate this into your own lang. _________________ ssvòä bïe es lýra, weave for me a dream. |

/sa Tiama am?palext yf he'4uly4_0nat/
or
/sa Tiama am?paleCt yf he'4uly4hnat/
Or without the /?/. _________________ 'We are the knights who say, "に!"'

I'm sorry... I still can't read X-SAMPA... Can I beg of you to put it in IPA for me? _________________ ssvòä bïe es lýra, weave for me a dream. |

But of course! No begging needed.

Thanks! (^_^) I promise I'll learn X-SAMPA sooooon... maybe, haha.
I guess I'll highlight what's right:
/ˌtʰiˈama am ˈpalext ʏf ˈheruːˌlʏr˳nat/
I made it bigger to include the accent marks but they aren't really showing up. _________________ ssvòä bïe es lýra, weave for me a dream. |

Let me try another guess in IPA this time:
/sa θiˈama amʲˈpaleçt əf ˈherʊˌlərhnat/
And can we have a gloss? _________________ 'We are the knights who say, "に!"'

Gloss, yes!
Sa thiama am’ palecht yf he-rúlyrh-nat
he-IDOP be-pleasing-PRES (inf) spend-money-INF money it-DOP have-he-like
This is an older form of grammar which is undergoing severe revisions. (^_^)
Aaand, I'm afraid neither of you have it. Keep trying! I'm excited to see how you get it! Or if you get tired of it, I've got another one which might possibly be more difficult. Haha. _________________ ssvòä bïe es lýra, weave for me a dream. |

What parts of our last guesses were right? _________________ 'We are the knights who say, "に!"'

Just the parts that were right before, in bold. Actually, both of you are getting closer with using [am] but it's not quite it yet. _________________ ssvòä bïe es lýra, weave for me a dream. |

Something else. (^_^) I came up with the strangest romanization for this language for some reason, so a number of sounds have almost no connection with the spelling. Shall I show you a really ridiculous example? _________________ ssvòä bïe es lýra, weave for me a dream. |

Okay, this sentence is kind of long but it's got lots of weird letters I found. (^_^) Actually, the sentence itself is kind of weird as well... yah.
@ Baldash - one of those is definitely right. Thanks for the links! That helps a lot.

I'm guessing <th> is /t´/. _________________ 'We are the knights who say, "に!"'

All of the rest of those just seem highly improbable (unless there's some sort of etymological reason for them)... what is it? Can we have a hint? _________________ 'We are the knights who say, "に!"'

I have to admit there's little rhyme or reason for the way I write this language...
Hint: the POA isn't as far back as a retroflex. Does that totally give it away? _________________ ssvòä bïe es lýra, weave for me a dream. |
