Have you ever noticed that whenever St. Patrick's Day is on a Tuesday (as it is this year), it's always just a handful of days after Friday the 13th?
And, whenever Flag Day or Valentine's Day is on a Saturday, it's always right after Friday the 13th?
And every year, New Year's Day is always on the same day of the week as Christmas of the year before was? _________________ "We're the healthiest horse in the glue factory" - Erskine Bowles, Co-Chairman of the deficit reduction commission |

There's probably some mathematical explanation, but I don't know what it is. Interesting though. |

It's because of the number of days in a year.
Happy belated Lucky Friday, by the way! _________________ Tôśt drônén kókślán! Vón kríngénã Tôśt! Gâgén šníkél dér îwâ! |

Another good general rule is that any month starting on a Sunday will have a Friday the 13th. |

Unfortunately my lucky friday this month will be spoiled by having one less hour of sleep this past sunday..... I hate Daylight Savings Time _________________ Tôśt drônén kókślán! Vón kríngénã Tôśt! Gâgén šníkél dér îwâ! |

I would dearly love to move there if only for that reason.... unfortunately I would die of boredom if I did. _________________ Tôśt drônén kókślán! Vón kríngénã Tôśt! Gâgén šníkél dér îwâ! |

Arizona is also smart enough to skip DST, and they have a pretty good reason. DST increases the time that the average person spends out in the inferno-esque Arizonan summer heat, so they decided it was probably best to skip it.
Here in Texas now, it sucks. (Why can't they do it on a Friday-Saturday night, when everybody can sleep in the next day regardless of religious affiliation?) |

Awesome, I used to live in Phoenix. Flagstaff's way nicer (in regards to temperature, I've never been there).
Have fun. |
