Well, actually the stranger isn't welcome there...
English
Old man: What do you want, stranger?
Young Alernes: I was looking for some info about some strange dragon that hides deep inside the Bloody Mines.
Old man: That's not your business, stranger. You better go home before we kick your sorry ass and we mean it.
Kexyana
Osnovede: Sha silsed, Sedrañeke?
Nyoke Alernes: Silsen stive Noshe sor neshe Drasare sha noleil seonos Sarnya Lyaveyson Myesinainon.
Osnovede: Disal / Lesa thel nin ku Inoke, Sedrañeke. Ereinsha verminaod Lirna anadi os kelshanso Kurpasini nens ses Disal / lesa eiskel lomena keoros.
Old-man - what (or that-interrogative) to look-for-2nd PERS sing-PRES, stranger?
young Alernes - to look-for-1st PERS sing-PRES some knowledge about weird dragon that(-clause) to hide-3rd PERS sing-PRES inside deepness darkness-place bloody.
Old-man - it / that(2) neg-to be-3rd PERS sing-PRES your interest, stranger. Better-that to return-2nd PERS sing-PRES-IMP home before or to attack-1st PERS pl-PRES compassion without and it / that(2) to explain itself-3rd PERS sing-PRES really-yours (meaning: itself or on its own) real-adv.
You may notice I used some "lesa" ("that(2)") twice. Well, it should mean that it's a demonstrative pronoun that is used like a second that, a that that is located far away but can also be understood as "it" the 3rd person. If I just use Disal instead, it'd only mean "it", the pronoun mentioned above. _________________ Seos nivo adgene Kizne tikelke

I hope this doesn't sound blunt, but, what is this? Did you make it up or is it from something? I find it rather amusing, by the way. _________________ I have some small knowledge of:

All definite cases in the names - note for clarity.
Latvian:
Vecais vīrs: Ko tu gribi, svešiniek?
Jaunais Alerness: Es meklēju informāciju par kādu dīvainu pūķi, kas slēpjas dziļi Asiņainajās Raktuvēs.
Vecais vīrs: Tā nav tava darīšana, svešiniek. Labāk ej mājās, pirms mēs sadodam tev pa tavu nožēlojamo pakaļu, un mēs to nopietni.
Vaijerīna:
nn wassan Ommuj: ki voli, Forasteruj?
n'ovan Alernesuj: om an laian Dārka, woi hondan il nn Sanwan Horkwa eino sekrete, Vernelwim buskaderul.
nn wassan Ommuj: ba tojatta ba tojanfa, Forasteruj. al bonnan il Manja wadio, wus Tojo troxan Kloppu patwimkeram, verer.
I'm too lazy to write it all again with the "-"'s in it, so...
DEF.ART old-ADJ male-M.NOM: what.ACC want.2SG, stranger-M.NOM?
DEF.ART young-ADJ Alernes-M.NOM: about INDF.ART strange.ADJ dragon-NOM, who deep-ADV in DEF.ART blood-ADJ mines-NOM REFL-GEN hide-3SG, info-ACC.PL look.for-1SG.PST.
DEF.ART old-ADJ male-M.NOM: not you'thing-NOM not you'breath-NOM, stranger-M.NOM. Comp good-ADJ in home-NOM go-IMP, before you-GEN damn-ADJ ass-ACC kick-1PL, really. |
