Claire's voice is, in my opinion, rather like what I'd expect a "sirène" (mermaid) to sound like. :D | Unfortunately I usually can't do sound on these borrowed computers. Next chance I get I'll listen. (She looks good, though.) |

Perhaps you should see about getting the French language version of Disney's "The Little Mermaid". (French title: La Petite Sirène).
Whoever does the voice for Ariel in that version, or at least the singing parts, does a wonderful job. I far prefer it to the English version, where I feel Ariel ends up with a semi-New York accent that just ruins the effect.
I also prefer the words to "Parmi Ces Gens" over the English version "Part Of Your World". _________________ Dwirze ghárìlen ershónyá áqálán.

Recently, after hearing some Portuguese spoken, I have come to the conclusion that Alurhsa sounds much like a mix of Portuguese and Welsh. And, of course, quite a lot like Alurhsa. That's probably the best descriptor for it. _________________ Bakram uso, mi abila, / del us bakrat, dahud bakrita! |

Anybody notice some similarities between Álurhsá and the spoken Tapissary at This site?
Obviously it's not exactly the same, but the stress patterns and all the nasal and clipped vowels remind me of Álurhsá, especially in the first two lines. Maybe something like a mix of Álurhsá and French. |

I just went and listened and it's beautiful! I haven't taken a very deep look at anything else yet but now that I've heard how awesome it sounds I definitely plan to! |
