I found 2 scripts today on Omniglot! Now you know what I think about them! What about you guys?

judging by Omniglot's text Ramos would take "it looks like Tengwar" as a complement; but it doesn't look all that much like Tengwar, merely vaguely reminiscent (you can tell at a glance it doesn't have the bowstaves, ascenders and descenders, open and closed, open-at-the-top vs open-at-the-bottom, bow-left-of-staff vs bow-right-of-staff, single bow vs double bow type structure. I commented on chelyesta elsewhere; but there, the main question was "does it or doesn't it look like (fill in name of writing-system)?" I said it didn't look like much of anything else, except a bit like NorthWest European Runes (perhaps as much as Malii looks like Tengwar); and that I liked the way it looks.

I agree with Strange Magic that they both look good and, as near as I can guess, probably function well too. |
