Yes yes. By 'mysterious', I meant the sense that our ancestors (not necessarily mine, as I am of Chinese decent, Razz) used those languages and such, also how it was probably used for rituals of heathen people.

The Celtic just sound more free to me, somehow. Less artificial and more real than other languages. I really, really like them.Very Happy

I've never heard Celtic languages spoken before.

Try going to Raidió na Gaeltachta http://www.rte.ie/rnag/ and click on R na G Beo (Conas Éisteacht) on the right hand side, and as long as you have Real Player installed on your machine you should get a live stream from Ireland's Gaelic-language radio service.

I know there are equivalent ways to listen to all six Celtic languages. Try just searching for "Listen to Manx" or "Listen to Welsh" and see what you get.
